The Circle of Life welcomes men and women of all ages and social strata.  Everyone is invited to come and share their wisdom, skills and creative talents in a safe, caring environment.  Its inspiration will come from the participants in our weekly groups.

Since each of us have something to offer, through our stories we will serve to impart wisdom and guidance.  We will explore our purpose as we learn from each other through talking, sharing and teaching.  In this setting we are sure to grow more caring, kind and compassionate as we enhance our listening skills. Sometimes in just listening to someone we offer the greatest gift we can as we allow them the freedom to feel safe and supported.  We too will feel empowered and inspired by helping each other to heal by offering a sympathetic ear and shoulder to lean on.

Through our stories we will serve to impart wisdom and guidance.  Friendships will surely be created through the Circle of Life. Come join us.  Share your concerns, your hopes, your dreams.  We want to hear what you have to offer us and the world.

Though we meet each week, attendance is optional.  We encourage you though to participate as often as possible so you get the full value of getting to know the people in the circle.  Registration is appreciated but not necessary.

A yoga demonstration by Susan of One Yoga Center

NLY end of summer picnic was a great success and fun way to end the summer. It was held on Aug 18^thand turned out to be a perfect day despite the rain that morning. The sun shone through and the day went as planned. With food and fun, it was a super day with lots of volunteers who worked hard to make it a special day for our kids. Susan, from One Yoga Center, gave a demonstration of yoga practices for our youth. The kids enjoyed it and seemed to really be into it. Later in the day we had a three on three tournament. The group of kids played hard to be the best, and while it was a hard fought battle, there was one team that broke through to the top. The team of two boys and one girl became the champs. Afterwards the kids received medals for participating in Summer Hoops and games at the picnic.

We were surprised when our pageant queens and our own beauty queen, Evelyn McCleod, presented us with a check from Church & Dwight for $10,000. We at NLY are so continuous grateful for their support over the years. We here at NLY are extremely thankful and appreciative for the continued support they give us. What a great end to the summer.

Our thanks also to our volunteers, coaches, tutors and mentors. We couldn’t do this without all of you!!!!

We would also like to thank One Yoga Center of Hightstown for providing us with Susan, a wonderful youth yoga instructor, who did an interactive yoga demonstration with our kids. We also want to thank all our volunteers, coaches and tutors for their dedication to NLY. We couldn’t do this without all of you!!!
